... When you feel it with every fiber of your being that the person is right?
Do you sit by and wait for things to fall together? Do you plan on taking said person out for dates and get to know them better? Do you strike a conversation and become friends with them? Do you buy yellow or red flowers for them? Do you write a poem describing their beauty or charm and describe how you feel about them?
Whatever it is you do, if you feel like this person is the one for you the best option is most definitely not to sit and wait for it to happen. When an opportunity presents itself even the most simple of options such as going over and saying "hi" or complimenting on something of theirs can lead to something extremely looked lightly upon in this day and age.
It saddens my heart that so many people rush into things using what they see and not what they feel. Many times this blind act leads to frustration, hardship, heartbreak, separation.
And even though I am not physically with them I believe I have found someone who I am meant to be with. In my church I received a blessing that describe me and what I am to do in this life and in it I was told that I would find the one person for me and we would raise our children on this earth. A message that brought tears to my eyes when I heard this and one I will most certainly not take lightly. I feel strongly about this person and care for them DEEPLY as I know they care for me as well. I will be there for this person during her hardships as best I can as I know this person's there for me.
This is something I wish all would take more seriously and stop just rushing into things for the simple act of getting in bed with them, which sadly is what most people want these days even if it means forcing themselves onto another. I could never bring myself to do so, and I wish more would stop and think before they act.
I'm sure most of you just simply clicked the clear buttons on this journal, but for those of you who did read this, thank you for your time and eyes. If you're willing to listen then you're willing to be there and change for the better.
